Can you believe 2021 is already halfway over?
Happy Independence Day! I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend so far.
It's been about a couple of months since I greeted you here, and I have an exciting update:
I transitioned to a full-time position with Torrance CitiCABLE, my home city's TV station, in June! I've been working there part-time throughout the pandemic mostly to avoid feeling isolated. I grew to love the crew at the station, and I also enjoyed producing, writing, anchoring and reporting for our daily live news show called "COVID-19 Today" and our weekend show "Weekends in Torrance." So when the opportunity came up to join the team full-time, I couldn't say no. But this transition does mean having to be very strategic with future Kimbop TV partnerships so I don't burn myself out. For the time being, I'm continuing to post two new videos weekly on my YouTube channel and work with currently existing partners.
