Before my cousin Stacy headed back to school in Florida for her final year in college, my husband and I filled her up with delicious SoCal treats throughout the O.C. Check them out for yourself!
1. 206 BCE Noodles - 440 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805
These are the coolest noodles I've seen! I won't spoil the magic, but the anti-gravity noodles literally stand up. Not only are they photogenic, they are delicious too! 206 BCE Noodles offers traditional Vietnamese food like pho but also creative dishes like this. Oh, and if you're a fan of seafood, try the Cajun Seafood Boil. The portion is huge and includes a whole lobster, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes and corn. This place is located on the bottom floor of a food hall called the Anaheim Packing District.
2. Eiswelt Gelato - 9605 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683
This is the best gelato I've ever tasted (and I've tried gelato in Italy too). Located in the heart of Little Saigon in the city of Westminster, Eiswelt Gelato specializes in creating cute characters that you can eat! Its owner has an inspiring story and was featured by The L.A. Times.
3. Wine Lab - 2937 Bristol Street Suite A101B, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
We found Wine Lab on Yelp after searching for a place nearby that served wine with good cheese options. This is a perfect spot for happy hour, and the wine tastings come in test tubes! This spot is tucked inside The Camp, a green, eco-friendly and trendy-looking shopping complex. Stacy and I scored some great deals at 2nd Street, a second-hand clothing store that is originally from Japan.
I hope this gives you a good taste of Orange County! Let me know where you think I should visit next by either commenting below or sending me a message. Bon appétit!
